MARE INSEMINATION

  • Insemination of your mare with fresh semen
  • Insemination of your mare with frozen semen (only at the station)
  • Insemination of your mare with any available stallion possible
  • Trying out the mare on the stallion
  • follicle checks and ultrasound diagnostics (station veterinarian)
  • uterine lavage (station veterinarian)
  • pregnancy examination (station veterinarian)
  • Quality assessment of the seed under the microscope
  • Insemination times at the station, by appointment by telephone at any time. Only vaccinated mares (tetanus, influenza, herpes) from a healthy horse population, certificate required.
  • Veterinary services, medications and laboratory costs are billed directly by our station veterinarian.

St. Vornholt completed his training and passed the examination to become a state-certified and approved insemination officer for horses in 1997. He worked at the Schockemöhle stallion station and the St. Ludwig stud farm before opening his own stallion station in 1999.
